Sustainability rating platform EcoVadis, has awarded KJ Chemicals a Gold Medal in recognition of our sustainability achievements. This is the second consecutive year that we have been awarded a Gold medal since participating in 2022.The Gold rating is given to companies that score within the top 5% of all companies.
　EcoVadis is well known as the most reliable platform that evaluate the sustainability of more than 100,000 companies in 175 countries across 200 industries by independent assessment and original analysis. We received high ratings in three categories of corporate activities, Labor, Human Rights and Ethics in EcoVadis 2023.
　Our production site is located in Yatsushiro City in Kumamoto, where is a rich natural environment and an abundant water supply. We value this rich natural environment and will continue to keep on the environmental preservation and to improve our sustainability.

*EcoVadis ratings are four levels: Platinum (within the top 1%), Gold (within the top 5%), Silver (within the top 25%), and Bronze (within the top 50%).
